World TB Day 2016 - Fast Tracking Access to Quality TB Diagnosis and Treatment

To mark the celebration of World TB Day 2016, the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and World Health Organization South-East Asia Region, with the support of WHO Country Office for India, hosted an event. Attendees included TB programme managers and health department officials of all states and countries in WHO South-East Asia Region. Also present were senior officials of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Stop TB partnership, USAID and the Global Fund.

The event witnessed the launch of various initiatives by Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, Hon’ble Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. Five guidelines and reports were released electronically in addition to the launch of CBNAAT machines. The Health Minister also inaugurated the exhibition, which covered 800 square meters of area and had a footfall of 500+ people. A poster and photo gallery was also fabricated.

While aligning with multiple stakeholders, we conceptualised the event and launches, designed the floor plan for the main event, and provided logistical and administrative support for coordinating with participants of 15 countries, including onsite management and complete show run. Additionally, the entire exhibition area was designed, fabricated and managed by our team. We ensured customised assistance to exhibitors for designing and setting up the stalls.
