World Health Day 2017

7 April, 2017 — New Delhi: To commemorate World Health Day 2017, the World Health Organization Country Office for India and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, jointly held a national consultation. The theme for the event was ‘Depression: Let’s Talk.’ The overarching purpose of the campaign was to destigmatise mental illness and encourage seeking treatment for the same.

A nation-wide live-feed was carried out for the launch of the national framework and guidelines for mental health in India by Hon’ble Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Shri J P Nadda and other dignitaries from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. On the occasion, WHO Country Office for India also honoured 5 Public Health Champions who have made substantial contributions to public health in the country.

In addition to providing administrative and logistic support for 200+ participants from across the country, we managed the entire event onsite from providing audio-visual support, complete fabrication services, production of event collaterals, aligning with partner companies to set-up their stalls at the exhibition, stage management and live launch of the initiative.
