Expansion of Rota Virus Vaccine in Universal Immunization Programme

18 February 2017 — Agartala, Tripura: To act upon its endeavor to protect each child in the country from vaccine preventable diseases and reduce child mortality, Public Health Foundation of India hosted an event to launch the Rota Virus Vaccine as part of the Universal Immunization Programme. 500+ participants from across the country attended the function. 

Local children were administered vaccination drops by Shri J P Nadda, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare, along with senior government officials, representatives of development partners (WHO, UNICEF, PHFI, etc.), and other dignitaries.

The event was live-streamed on Facebook and Twitter. Outdoor brandings were put up across a radius of 10 km from the event venue. Multiple indoor brandings were fabricated and installed. We handled the media release and stage management in addition to providing audio-visual support and facilitating onsite registration of all participants.
